Controls in computing are used to specify you to go that place. Like in Micrsoft Office, if you pressed Clip Art, it would go to clip art. That was a control

Contextual tabs are the tabs on Microsoft Office. It is near the ribbon. It specifies on where you want to go.

Compatibility mode is a mode where you can run it compatibility. For example, some programs might not work with Windows 7 because its not compatible. You would have to put it in Compatibility mode for it to be compatible

A comparison is when you are looking at different things and you are comparing them which is a comparison

Backward Compatible is a device or a machine that can work with older devices. Take this, the PS3 has its own games, the PS2 has its own games too. The PS3 cant play PS2 games because the PS3 is not backward compatible, if they were, then you would obviously be able to play that certain game

It automatically helps you fill out a form. Say its a survey, you have to put in the details. You type a keycoard shortcut, and itll automatically be there.

Its the best decision for the best height and width. If your making a poster, it will decide what will be the best height and weight

An autocomplete is when the program wants to complete the word for you. For example, you type in ANS. Then the program will put WER at the end of those 3 letters, which spells answer.

Lab 3 Word Art

Well the first thing i did was write it in Microsoft Word. Then i typed in my name and went to the TAB INSERT. I pressed WORD ART and then i used the font COMIC SANS MS and put in my design, and i changed my texture, and the color of the JPG file.Then i changed the shadow of the text using 3D SHADOW. Then i changed the place of the text and  put it in the middle.Then i prssed CTRL+A and then copied it using the command CTRL+P. Then i pasted it on Microsoft Powerpoint, then i used format on Powerpoint, then i used anchor point and made it bigger. Then i moved the text in too the middle. Than i saved my work as a JPG file

LAB 2 Common Skills

1) When i press ALT+TAB, it switches from the active window you were in and it goes to the tab that was next to it.It basically switches windows
2)The first thing we did was write a sentence down, than we learned that CTRL+A highlights everything, than CTRL+C copies the highlighted text and CTRL+V allows you to paste what you have copied. Than we learned how we changed the font, you go the ribbon FONT and there is a arrow pointing you through numerous amounts of fonts, we did Albertus MT and the next to that was the font size, we put 20 font size. Next to it was something called GROW FONT which allows to make the font that you highlighted much more bigger. Next to that was something called SHRINK FONT, which made it shrink the highlighted text. Next, you go the ribbon tab, Paragraph. There is a tab of rows that allows you to put the sentence that you highlighted into bullet form, and the next tab allows you too put it in number tab. In the same ribbon, there is this thing called LINE SPACING, which allows you to space the highlighted text. You could pick various of amount of inches you want to space the sentences with. For example, 1.0, 2.0 , 3.0.
3)In Microsoft Office, you can make columns in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint. There is no Page Layout in Microsft Powerpoint, but in the home tab, you could make columns on the side. That is the difference. But in Microsoft Word, its in Page Layout
